Houston Newborn Photography
When this little mans mom first came to me asking about her precious baby’s newborn shoot, I was thrilled at the opportunity. I am always very deeply honored when a newborn client wants to work with me. His mama wanted whites, simple, and clean styling for his shoot so that is what I delivered. I choose to first focus on some clean set ups. I chose to start with a neutral pallet and them move on to more natural baby posing on a white backdrop.
In my sessions I focus on all my props and wraps first as this gets baby nice, warm and comfortable. Then I will focus on the beanbag poses. Right after, we finished all the props and wrapped shots my studio light broke on me! Thankfully I was able to move my Paloma Schell Beanbag close to the window and start working in just natural light. So after I moved to the window I was able to get some adorable posed shots on the plain blue and white fabric.
I just love how simple and sweet this pose came out. The white clean fabric and no props really does bring focus to the baby!
After I finished all the beanbag poses and prop poses I got to play a little with him because he was still sleepy. This hanging pose inst one that is usually in my workflow but since he was such a good little baby I was able to do it.
