Houston Newborn Portrait Photographer | Sweet Baby Boy
Pouty lips…tiny fingers and toes…that ever so identic smell of a brand new baby. Is there anything else in this world so precious as a fresh new babe? This little one was so peaceful throughout the entirety of the session. Just days old. I’ve found, as a Houston Newborn Portrait Photographer, the earlier the better when it comes to newborn portraits. Not only because of the fact that we try to capture the raw newness of the baby, but because the slumber so deeply, it makes it so much easier to pose and position their delicate little bodies. This little man was a photographer’s dream when it came to posing! I loved seeing the slight milk drunk grin spread across his face. I think I lit up just as much as his sweet mama! Gotta’ love them babies!!
We decided to incorporate varying shades of taupe, and rustic browns throughout the session. My favorite had to of him holding his tiny knit bunny, while curled up in the knitted capped swadling-onsie, laying on a fluffy faux fur blanket. As a photographer, it is my job to make these session appear as effortless and organic as possible, but it truly is the intentional assortment of textures, tones and shades that make these photos so unique. I love playing with different props, backgrounds and textural elements. It helps create a variety throughout the entirety of my portfolio. I am so grateful to have the opportunity through this career path to work with such precious little ones such as this one, and meet such wonderful people as his mother.
