What an amazing head of hair this little guy had! What could be cuter?! I loved that we decided to stick with neutrals for this session. The contrast between the cream tones and his dark hair made for a beautiful added depth to these images. As a Houston Newborn Studio Photographer, I think creating an added depth to these pictures through a variety of textures and accessories is what truly makes these images stand out. I like to consider what my clients have in mind for their end products when styling sessions such as this. This particular family wanted to create a gallery wall with an assortment of these different images. For that reason, I wanted to create enough variation throughout the pictures while keeping a cohesive neutral and organic feel to the session. This way, the images will all coordinate with each other, while still being an eclectic arrangement.
As soon as I met this little man, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on his little cheeks! He was the perfect little chunk. Since he slept so well throughout the entire session, he was a dream to pose. Some little ones fight the posing process, and become fussy. With most, a bottle and some well earned snuggles usually do the trick, but this little guy was a dream from the get go! Every shot, every position looks so effortless and natural.
