his precious little girl was an absolute angel! I love her sweet little mouth and little squishy fingers and toes. One of the things I noticed the quickest about her is All. That. Hair! This baby girl has a full head of gorgeous black locks. What an absolute joy it was to be her Houston Newborn Fine Art Studio Photographer!
Surely you’ve heard of the old wives tale that if you have heartburn during pregnancy, your baby is likely to be born with a full head of hair. Sounds like folk wisdom and surely not based on science right? Interestingly enough I read a magazine article that said it is actually based in science.
Researchers at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore found that when pregnant women reported moderate heartburn, they had newborns with full heads of hair 82 percent of the time whereas the majority of heartburn-free women gave birth to bald babies. Now this is information I read in a magazine and haven’t researched further than that, but I thought it was interesting!
Regardless of heart burn she may have caused her momma, she’s now making all our hearts swoon with her cuteness. I can’t wait to see where life takes this little angel!
