Houston TX Newborn Photographer | Double Dose of Love
Be still my heart! These two sweet babies were some of the cutest twins I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Adorable cub caps, chunky knits, soft muslin swaddling blankets… this newborn session was a textural wonderland for this Houston TX Newborn Photographer.
With twins, it’s all about the balance of each image. As professional photographer, I have to think of the end product and how these images will arrange together. When creating a gallery wall for example, with twins I like to mix in an assortment of angles and poses to create an eclectic and varied feel to the arrangement. Variety truly is the spice of life when it comes to sessions such as this!
About This Session
We played with multiple colors and tones throughout the session. Always staying towards a muted temperature so that these two little ones could shine. As with any twin session, I wanted to make sure to capture both shots of the twins together, and single shots of each baby. Two of my closest friends in high school were twins, so I know how important it is to highlight each one’s unique personalities and characteristics. So much of these two’s lives will be spent grouped together with each other for the simple fact that they are twins, so I thought it was important to capture individualistic shots of each.
I truly had so much fun working with these two and their parents. These two were so wonderful to pose, a photographer’s dream! Between a few well placed snuggle sessions, we were able to get some genuinely stunning shots that will forever act as a documentation of this precious time in these four beautiful souls lives. How lucky am I to have such adorable sweet clients!
