Thank you for considering Kimberly Burleson Photography for your Houston newborn photography session! With a fine portrait approach, we are different than most other newborn photographers. We style your gallery so that it flows seamlessly. The images will garner a sense of variety and beauty that perfectly portrays the sweetness of all the beautiful little details of your newborn. Vintage props, muted colors, and neutrals are key elements in my sessions. Our goal is to create timeless portraits that will be full of memories.
Your newborn photography shoot will include close up photos of your baby’s tiniest little details, canvas worthy images, peaceful poses, gorgeous lighting, parent and baby photos, siblings, and of course family photos too! As a mother, I know that, all the things we love about our newborn babies fade so quickly. Sleep deprivation and the stress of learning how to be a parent sometimes clouds our memories. By having Kimberly Burleson Photography capture your newborn, you will forever have images that will not only be your future treasures, but your baby’s treasures as well!
My Newborn Photography Style
What does my style mean for your session? When you hire a newborn photographer you are hiring them for their artistic style. No two newborn photographers are alike and no two photographers will deliver the same product…. even if the have the same camera, same location, and same props. When you look through my baby photography portfolio you will see that my newborns have a soft look to them. I don’t use a lot of props and when I do they have an antique feel and don’t stand out in the pictures. I choose to use muted, organic, and neutral props because I want the focus to be on your baby not colorful props and current themes or characters. Most of newborn galleries will be very neutral in color. I take a lot of inspiration from my favorite artist Rembrandt. I love layering high end textures and using very rich colors. I also using my light to create soft natural shadows in my work.
