Our Newborn Sessions capture all the precious details of your baby in a breathtaking, unique way. As a mom of 3 boys myself, I know that the newborn stage goes by so fast and recording these precious memories is very important. Our paramount goal is to provide you with both beautiful images of your newborn baby but also an experience that is like none other. We want to celebrate this moment with you!
OUR STYLE
Timeless, artistic, warm, earthy and rich are all words we would use to describe our style. We love unique antique props and neutral textures. All of our newborn tiebacks, bows and bonnets are handmade from high end materials. By choosing only the best knitted props and high quality wool, we are able to give your images a unique and luxurious end product.
SCHEDULING
We take a limited amount of newborn baby sessions monthly. This will account for babies that arrive early or late. Newborn sessions are intended for newborns between 5-14 days after birth. Our schedule does fill up fast so we do recommend to book no later than the end of your second trimester. Your deposit will secure your on our calendar. Once baby arrives we will schedule the date for your session. Newborn sessions are scheduled Monday- Friday at 10am.
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
Once we know baby has arrived we will send you information on how to prepare for your session. This will include tips and tricks to make your session go seamlessly. We will also send you a style survey asking you what colors you would like to see in your final gallery.
YOUR SESSION
Safety is my priority. Newborn portraiture is my specialty, so you can expect high quality for each and every image in your gallery.
I supply all props, hats, headbands etc here in my studio.
We no longer photograph any props from outside my studio due to safety.
All you need to bring is your gorgeous baby and milk (breast or bottle) and a soother if they take one. Newborn sessions generally last between 1-2 hours. A well prepared baby will go through our session quickly with all the poses we do in our workflow. The studio is heated to make sure that baby is comfortable and to keep baby sleepy. We use high quality, hypoallergenic fabrics/ props that are cleaned after every session with detergents free of harsh chemicals.
YOUR PHOTOS
A few days after your session we will send you a proof gallery with all the images taken from your session. Once you have selected the images your would like included in your package, we will professionally retouch the images within 7-10 days.
YOUR ART
Your final gallery will include all the pricing and products we offer for you to display your art. We recommend printing your photo through us to guarantee high quality color and archival quality images.
