Goodness I love photographing little baby girls! I’m not sure if its the clouds of pink that seem to follow them wherever they go, or bows and adorable headbands they so often wear, but they just fill my heart with such happiness! Sessions like this make me so incredibly happy to be a Richmond Newborn Natural Light Newborn Photographer.
This little one was a perfect doll throughout her whole session. She was at that perfect age, where they sleep so soundly and are an absolute dream to pose. Transitioning her from position to position was such a breeze. I love that we offer a full studio packed to the brim with different headbands, blankets, bows, wraps and accessories for sessions just like this one. It allows the parents of the little ones to pick exactly what elements they would like to use, which makes each session so unique and intimate. I love adding textural elements to newborn sessions. The contrast works so incredibly well with their soft, delicate skin.
For this session, we decided to stay within neutral tones, mixing in a few blush shades to create a dreamy feminine vibe that extended throughout the entirety of the session. I can’t wait to see how this sweet girl’s mama uses these images to adorn her adorable nursery!
