Rosy cheeks, big bows and big brown eyes… be still my heart!! How adorable is this little diva!? I loved getting lost in the games and fun of the evening, celebrating her first revolution around our great-big sun. We found an adorable little clearing under a canopy of mossy green giants and had a blast. With the lighting cooperating as well as it did this particular evening, we were able to get some truly amazing shots! I love stepping out of my Richmond newborn studio and branch out to the wild outdoors and transform myself into a Richmond Tx Family Photographer. I am so lucky to do this for a living.
This one-year-old was one of the easiest children I’ve worked with thus far! She was up for anything! I got some of my favorite shots on a pier leading into the little lake we were shooting by. We plopped her down in a darling little wood box, surprisingly, she was happy as a clam! The way the plants shot up behind her provided the perfect backdrop and really allowed me to get some great natural, organic shots while still allowing her to shine in the forefront.
Getting to see families play games and genuinely giggle with each other makes my heart so happy. If there’s one thing this family isn’t in short supply of, its giggles! I loved when mom and dad threw a quilt up in the air while their little brown-eyed princess watched in wonder as it fluttered down on her precious little head. I’ve done a lot of family sessions in my time, and have had a lot of fun getting to see the true personality of each family… But the fun this couple has together with their little girl really stands out in my mind. It makes me so excited and anxious to see what fun the future holds for their journey.
