It’s a glorious day, kids, and do you want to know why? Because I’ve got April and RJ’s 9 Day-old baby, Declan , coming at you on the blog! There was so much love and sweetness in this shoot. Seriously, photographing them in the Richmond Texas Newborn Studio, felt like stepping into a warm, cozy bubble.
At 8lbs 9 oz he sure is a perfect healthy baby boy! Mom said she was “Relieved!” and “Cried because she was so happy to see him in her arms.”
I was so happy to see this sweet family again! A few months ago I had the pleasure of photographing their maternity shoot in the glorious July Texas Heat! We were sweating but we got done fast 😉
I asked Mom what her favorite part of the session was and she said “Watching how peaceful the baby looked.” And, really he was very peaceful the entire session! He didn’t even make one peep!
RJ’s Mom hand crocheted a special dinosaur outfit with so much love! they brought it to their session to capture the precious keepsake as well!
“Shocked. Excited. Nervous,” April said when I asked them about the moment they found out they were pregnant! And now here we are today, 10 months later!
I am so excited to see how this family continues to blossom, and I just know there are some very special years in their future. I’ll leave you with a few more images from our session, and catch you next time!
